About this Event

The foundation of entrepreneurship is making a difference. As an entrepreneur, you are trying to make a difference with your business, in your life and in your community. Making a difference is also the basis for networking or playing in a band. That’s why we chose this as the theme for this year’s conference.

Four very inspiring speakers will tell you how you can make a difference in very different ways.

Yordi Dam – Making a difference with data visualization
As Team Leader of Data Visualization & Infographics at NRC (and lead singer of several bands over the years), Yordi will convince you why it helps to simply visualize things so you understand even better what data means.

Rens Tanis – Making a difference with networking
Most people who are members of a business club don’t actually network at all. Rens believes this can be done better. He gives accessible and fun networking tips to get more out of your business contacts.

William Boeva – Drive
William Boeva doesn’t need to be told that life isn’t always easy. William was born with a rare form of dwarfism. He has seen more of the inside of a hospital than he would like and has been told what he cannot do later in life.

Fortunately for us and for himself, he didn’t let this get him down. Supported by his family and friends, William knew there was more to life than becoming a cobbler. His unlikely story got him where he is today: an acclaimed comedian, a regular guest on TV and radio and a public figure who dares to use his platform to call attention to the plight of his peers. Drive is his story, with ups and downs, about how he got where he is today and the obstacles he still overcomes every day. About how he draws strength from the things that drive him and that you don’t necessarily need the best cards to win a race. So it’s not pure comedy, but it is humorous. After all, he can’t help it….

Frank Heim – Rockstar principles for building a 7-figure business
Frank and his band Saltatio Mortis were headliners at Wacken Open Air this year, where they played a special set in honor of their 25th anniversary. They have had no less than five albums at No. 1 on the German album charts and have nearly 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify. As a side project, he plays with the same band members in Bad Loverz. Taking a band to the top requires the same principles as for the success of a business, as Frank explains (and his marketing agency punktbar is living proof).

Between speakers, there will be plenty of time to get to know each other better, exchange knowledge and do business. In the inspiring Noordkade building (which you will also learn more about on the day itself) we are going to experience an impactful conference together!
