I’m Walter Heck, co-founder and CTO of Helixiora, where I build practical AI solutions for companies that want to use their own knowledge and data better.
My work sits somewhere between software, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and AI. I like turning complex technical ideas into systems that actually work in real organisations. With Helixiora and our product Lorelai, I focus on AI, RAG, automation, and secure infrastructure, useful tech without too much hype.
Outside of work, heavy music has been part of my life for a long time. My first real concert was Pinkpop 1996, with Sepultura, Rage Against the Machine, and a lot more. That probably set the tone. I can’t play an instrument, but I love listening, going to concerts regularly, and I try to do at least one bigger festival every year.
I’m 45, live in Voorburg, and I’m a dad of three. I enjoy meeting people who are serious about business, but don’t take themselves too seriously, especially if there’s loud music involved.
